Mommy Moments: Family Field Trips

The theme for Mommy Moments this week is Parks.  When we take the toddlers out, we often just go to the mall for clothes or grocery shopping or for dining out.  We’ve been able to take them already to a couple of parks though.

Their first visit to a historical park – The Rizal Park.

A morning stroll at the Rizal Park makes for a great family bonding moment.

A quick drive through another historical park – The Quezon Memorial Circle.

An ocean adventure at a theme park – The Manila Ocean Park.

Sea Lion Watch with Papa and the Toddlers

A favorite hang-out – The Loyola Memorial Park.

Kite Flying and Boomerang Throwing at the Memorial Park

Oh, ok. The last one shouldn’t count. But it is technically also called a “park”.  Check out the parks other families have visited at The Mommy Journey.

  1. Rizal Park is next on our list. hope to find time to go there soon. Don’t you just love the solitude you’ll find in Memorial Parks? Super lawak pa na playground hehe 🙂

  2. Love your Rizal park shot, color-coordinated 😉 Nawala yung daughter ko dyan sa Luneta kaya ayaw namin dyan e. And we hope to visit the Ocean park soon too!

  6. Parks are good for the kids (and kids at heart too) to make use of their feet, and exercise tohose muscles.

  8. We were at Manila Ocean Park during the summer. My toddler enjoyed looking at all the fishes. Parks are really great places for kids to play and learn.

  9. Nice family pic you got there. 🙂
On my bucket list is visit as many parks as we can in cebu (coz we are from here) :). Hopefully we can go visit the Ocean park too. I’d like to expose our little girl to nature and love for her to appreciate it.
