The importance of water to your body’s overall health can hardly be overestimated. While experts agree that the amount of water each person needs daily varies, depending on activity level and other factors, no one argues that it’s not essential. Water helps eliminate toxins from the body, keeps you hydrated and provides good energy.

Having a source of good-tasting drinking water has become a priority for many people. And while some don’t mind the taste of tap water, and others don’t mind spending a good deal of money on bottled water, many are coming to rely on water filtration systems that provide better-tasting water but won’t break their budget.

Types of household water filters vary. Some of the most common types include water filtration pitchers, water filtration faucet mounts and water filtration systems built into your refrigerator. Pur, Brita and Soma all make various types of filtration systems, and you can also find them in a number of well-known refrigerators, like the Frigidaire water filters at Frigidaire-store.com. The various types of filters make different claims regarding which kinds of particulates and how many water contaminants they eliminate, but the ultimate desire of most water drinkers is water that tastes and smells fresher than tap water.

Comments

  1. We did this kind before and hubs decided to get a fridge with filtered built-in.

  2. I use to have this but opted for a bottled water delivery instead.

  3. We have water filter from our refrigerator but we still buy bottle water anyway.

  4. Water filters are important to us. We’re not so use about the tap water here especially after getting flooded. We have a little girl at home and I have a sensitive stomach. Getting bottled water can be really expensive, investing on a water filter system is the most ideal for us.

  5. There are numerous water filter systems available in the market today but as of this date, I haven’t convinced my husband yet to have our own since it’s quite expensive. Currently, we purchase water from a water station near our place while I let my daughter drink distilled water.
