Product Review: Celeteque Maternity Anti-Stretch Mark Cream

A couple of weeks ago, I received a tube of Celeteque Dermoscience Maternity Anti-Stretch Mark Cream for review.  When I received the cream, I knew it would be a miracle for it to banish my stretch marks which in all likelihood could only be removed through a surgical procedure or a state-of-the-art dermatological procedure.  I carried twins on my first pregnancy which has stretched my abdominal skin to unimaginable size.  Imagine my petite 5-ft-frame carrying twin daughters.  I literally looked like a balloon – a hot-air balloon at that! This was followed soon after with another pregnancy; this time with an 8-pound-16-ounces baby boy. So, yes, I have earned my stripes, my tiger stripes so very evident until now.  Nevertheless, I still tried the anti-stretch mark cream.  It may not banish my stretch marks completely but it could reduce them and hopefully make them a little bit less noticeable in time for summer.

Celeteque Anti-Stretch Mark Cream

Celeteque Maternity Anti-Stretch Mark Cream contains Elastonyl and Alchemilla vulgaris extract that improves skin elasticity.  Phyto Collage and Shea Butter helps moisturize the skin and help make skin more pliant.  The cream helps prevent stretch marks and reduces existing ones.  It is easily absorbed by the skin and does not feel too thick and warm.  This formulation works great in our humid climate as it does not leave you feeling sticky throughout the day.  The “stickiness” factor is the primary reason why I seldom applied the rich cocoa butter during my pregnancy.  I was already feeling warmer than usual during those times and the sticky cream just made me feel much more uncomfortable. Celeteque Anti-Stretch Mark Cream, as I’ve mentioned, is quickly absorbed.  I can apply it on my tummy and on my thighs (no stretch marks there yet but Mama’s gaining a few pounds and might end up having tiger stripes there as well) without feeling uncomfortable during the day.  I really wish this cream had already been available six years ago when I first got pregnant.  I probably wouldn’t have these unsightly stretch marks now.

Another factor that makes this a great product for frugal moms is its affordable price.  At only P445.00 per 100ml, it’s very easy to fit into the monthly budget. Celeteque Maternity Anti-Stretch Mark Cream is available at Watson’s, SM Department Stores, and Robinson’s Department Stores.  You can also purchase it and other Celeteque Dermoscience products online at http://service.healthfirst.com.ph/celeteque/

Whether you choose to use the Celeteque Maternity Anti-Stretch Mark Cream or some other product, make sure you apply it on your abdomen and on other stretch mark prone areas before your baby bump grows into full size.   Believe me, preventing stretch marks is a lot easier than making them disappear.

  1. Very good for stretch mark and scars too? I’ll try this product for sure. thanks for posting

  2. Perfect for ladies managing their post pregnancy bulge.

  3. Will it work for old scars? I used Palmer’s Shea Butter when I was pregnant and I never had any stretch marks.

    • I used Palmer’s Cocoa Butter when I was pregnant but I never applied it regularly. The temperature here in the Philippines is just too hot for rich body butters. I’d feel really sticky and uncomfortable after applying them. I’m not sure how effective this Celeteque Maternity Cream is on old scars. It hasn’t made much difference on my scars yet. But it is a good alternative for pregnant mommies here in tropical Pinas. 🙂

  4. I’ll check out this product for sure. It’s probably effective for pregnant women but I’ll try anything that promises to banish stretchmarks.

  5. I haven’t used Celeteque when I was preggy, I wish I knew they had this. Though I really don’t have stretch marks, thanks to my mom’s genes.

  6. Did this work? I also used Palmers (plus contractubex for my cs scar) and coconut oil.

  7. I have heard some good things about this product before. When I was pregnant my husband kept reminding me to oil up my skin and I actually used Olive Oil.. hehehe. I mean, it is natural and it works well for me. I have a little stretch mark on my left leg, but nothing too major. I am glad my tummy’s fine. I have not used this product before.

  8. thanks for the detailed review! And wow, there’s proof you got! I’ve been using their toner and seeing good results too 🙂

  9. Whoa, I never knew they had this product with them too – awesome! I totally see the difference there!
