Ready…Gizmo…Go!

Here’s something more to look forward to this December – a fun run for the whole family!

Join Gizmo and the Superbook Agents (hoping to see the beautiful mom Bettina Carlos & cute daughty Gummy again) at the Bonifacio Global City on December 14, 2013 and become one of the “heroes of change” of this generation!

Have the entire family sign up, gather all your friends, have fun running together and get to help others too.  Proceeds of “Ready…Gizmo…Go!” will go to Operation Blessing, Prayer Center, Asian Center for Mission and CBN Asia Media (The 700 Club Asia, Superbook and Tanikala) which are all part of the CBN Asia Family of Ministries.

Registration for the 1K, 3K, 5K and 10K categories started on November 11 and will be open until December 9 or until race kits run out.  Fees (which would greatly aid CBN Asia Family of Ministries) are P300 (1K), P400 (3K), P500 (5K), and 600(10K).  The Race Kit includes a singlet and a bib.  Finishers also get their own medals after the race.

I’m considering running with my two kids at the 3K category but saw the cute finisher’s medal for the 1K so I may reconsider running at 1K instead. 🙂 Hubby though wants all four of us to run 3K  together, so it’s still under deliberation. What’s certain though is that our brood will have fun running together at the first ever Superbook Fun Run.

SUPERBOOK REIMAGINED in Tagalog!

Did you watch Superbook this morning and was surprised that it was in Tagalog?   Starting today, October 5, Superbook Reimagined will air in Tagalog! Surely, this would encourage many more young Filipinos to be a Batang Superbook.

“Now that there’s Superbook in Tagalog, more Pinoy kids will surely learn from the episodes and relate to the stories portrayed. This time,  Superbook will be appreciated by more Filipino families. It’s my dream to see Superbook translated to other dialects so that more kids will know about God and His great love for us,”

By translating Superbook in Tagalog, more Filipinos can understand the stories and be a part of the greatest adventures ever told.   For my kids who are more fluent in English than in Tagalog, this Tagalized version would help them learn to speak Filipino as they learn more about God.

Time-travel with Chris, Joy, and Gizmo is still at 7:30 am on GMA 7 every Saturday.  It may be in Tagalog now but they’re still the same wonderful stories we all love.

Did you miss episodes from the First Season of SUPERBOOK?  They’re still being shown every Saturday from 7:30 – 8:00 am at GMA 7.  But if your kids are always clamoring to watch Superbook,  why not get them the complete  set of Season 1?

SUPERBOOK Bida ng Pagbabago Roadshow Kicks Off on July 14!

Mark your calendars!  Be at Robinsons Magnolia this Sunday when Superbook Bida ng Pagbabago Roadshow kicks off.  If your kids have been wanting to meet Gizmo, now is their chance to meet him and even pose for a picture with him.  Read on to know what fun activities await all Batang Superbooks.

SUPERBOOK KICKS OFF BIDA NG PAGBABAGO ROADSHOW!

Super news flash! This is what every ‎Batang Superbook has been waiting for!

The Superbook Bida ng Pagbabago Roadshow will be kicking-off this July 14, Sunday, from 2:00 pm-5:00 p.m. at the Robinsons Magnolia Atrium, Aurora Blvd., Quezon City (near St. Paul University).

Join Superbook Agents and Kapuso stars Benjamin Alves, Bettina Carlos, and Sheena Halili, with ventriloquist Ruther Urquia and his puppet Titoy, for some fun games, prizes and surprises!

And the best part? The kids will get a chance to meet and greet, and pose for a photo with Gizmo!

There will also be a special screening of Superbook’s “A Giant Adventure” episode. How cool is that?

Registration will start at 12:00 noon and entrance to the audience area will be a first come, first serve basis. Seats will also be limited to one (1) child per one (1) adult companion only so better come early.

It’s Moses vs Pharoah on SUPERBOOK this Saturday

“I can’t do it.”

“I’m not good enough.”

“My classmates won’t listen to me.”

How many times have you heard your children utter these very same words?  The first one I actually hear a lot from my little girl. Which is why I’m making sure that she gets to watch the fourth episode of Superbook this Saturday, Let My People Go.

This Saturday, June 22 at 7:30 a.m. on GMA, journey with Chris, Joy and Gizmo as Superbook takes them back to the time when God commanded Moses to free the Israelites from slavery, one of the most epic Bible stories of all time.

Witness how God transformed Moses– from being a “nobody” to being a “somebody.” He was a man who didn’t know how to speak well. But God chose him to lead the people of Israel out of slavery. Will he be able to talk to the cold-hearted Pharaoh and convince him to let God’s people go?

Watch this episode with your kids and let them know that God has something special in store for them.  They may feel inadequate but God has a great plan for them.
