Summer Kick Off at AMBAY!

Our summer vacay officially started last weekend and what better way to kick it off than with a trip to the beach. Nuj, one of the kids’ classmates, was celebrating his birthday in Ambay Beach Resort in Botolan, Zambales and we were invited. We had no plans that weekend, so off we went to Ambay.

What do you do with driftwood and trash washed away on the shore? Turn them into pieces of art, of course!

As I’ve mentioned in my previous post about Ambay, this place is for those looking for some repose from citylife. You’ll find no television, bars, or videokes here. Neither are there five-star hotel amenities. What you instead get is good ol’ sea, sand, and sun. Yep, it’s just the beach and your family. Just exactly what you need for a weekend of family bonding!

We’re going back to Ambay to join the Kids Ultimate Summer Experience from May 2 to 4.  The 3-day camp is packed with fun activities for the kids and the kids at heart.  Sign up now to join the fun ‘coz they can accommodate only a limited number of guests. Visit the event page on FB at https://www.facebook.com/events/737531402954396/ to reserve slots for your family.

AMBAY BEACH RESORT: A Haven of Wellness, Pure Beach Fun

Summer’s halfway over and if you still haven’t been to the beach, now’s the time to take your entire family or your barkada for some fun in the sand.  Boracay may be the first thing that comes to mind when we hear “beach” but it can get pretty crowded during this season.  Our country has 7,107 islands and miles of beaches so there are really plenty of other choices.

AMBAY Beach Resort offers light-hearted fun that warms the soul and rejuvenates the weary city dweller.  With ukelele playing in sync with the sound of the waves beating on the shore, this place is definitely for those looking for a relaxing vacation and not for the party-going beach lover.

A Place of Serenity

The resort has a rustic appeal to it.  There’s none of those modern hotel facilities sprouting in popular beaches.  Which means there are also no blaring sounds from bars or intoxicated beach bums.  What you get instead is that homey-feel  in perfect commune with nature.  There’s vast area of sand, clear blue waters, and fresh air.  Add great company to that and you have all that it takes for a wonderful vacation at the beach.

A Haven of Wellness

Ambay Beach Resort encourages guests to join the yoga sessions held during sunrise and sunset.  Really the perfect way to start and end your day!   There’s also no need for you to worry about food as Ambay serves healthy vegetarian dishes to all guests.   Non-veg’s would actually be surprised at how good the food tastes. You won’t even realize that the sisig, barbeque, and kare-kare in the buffet table are all veggie.   Stay here for the weekend and you’d be on a good start to detoxifying your body.  Since Ambay advocates wellness and clean living, drinking and smoking are discouraged.  Guests are welcome to be intoxicated with happiness though. 🙂

Clean Beach, Clean Fun

A stay at Ambay Beach Resort is far from boring.  Its vast shoreline provides ample space for a game of ultimate frisbee or beach volleyball.  There are also surf boards, boogie boards, and skim boards for those who want to have some fun in the water.  This resort would be a perfect venue for team building activities and seminars.
