Summer and beaches always go together. A summer vacation is never complete without a trip to the beach and a tan to show off. Hopefully, one summer in my life would be spent in Hilton Head Island. Well, who wouldn’t want to bask in one of the world’s most beautiful beaches? Hilton Head Island is not only famous for its spectacular beaches and but is also world-renowned for its top rate golf courses. Naturally, this is a fave for beach lovers and golf enthusiasts. I myself am no golf enthusiast but I would definitely love to see famous celebrities vie for the cup at the Heritage Golf Classic or the Celebrity Golf Tournament.

The island has much more to offer though and can be enjoyed by everyone in the family. March is one of the best times to visit with the WineFest, St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and WingFest all making the month festive and fun. The diverse wildlife in Hilton Head Island would be a great way to show my little ones the beauty of nature and to teach them how to preserve Mother Earth and all the creatures that inhabit it. I’m sure they’d be absolutely thrilled to spot Loggerhead Sea Turtles in their natural habitat.

I do fancy myself lounging with my husband and kids in our own Hilton Head villa. And yeah, I do dream of smelling the very same “clear sweet air” that Captain William Hilton breathed when he founded the island. It may be a far off dream for now but it doesn’t hurt to have grand dreams, right?
