It has been two weeks since I received THE PACKAGE delivered right at our very doorstep. As one of the Neutrogena’s Brandvocates, I received a cerulean blue box containing a sample of their newest line Neutrogena HYDRO BOOST. I found a jar of Water Gel nestled inside the box and started using it the very same night it was delivered. Except for my facial wash, I stopped using any other facial product to fully see the effect of Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel on my face.
Upon application, the water gel is immediately absorbed by the skin and does not leave a sticky film on my face. It has a delicate fragrance so faint that it actually has a calming effect on me AND does not trigger my allergic rhinitis. After one week of use, my husband noted that my skin looked more supple and radiant. I have noticed the suppleness but the radiance I’m slightly doubting. Husbands can be very biased, you know. ^_^
I’m not a stickler for beauty regimens as it can be quite impossible to spend several minutes applying one product after another when you have two toddlers hollering and pleading for dear mama to stay with them. This makes the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel a great product for busy moms like me. With just this one product, your skin is kept hydrated, itchy and blotchy skin repaired from within, and stressed skin replenished. It actually did produce results in the two weeks I’ve been using it. My skin is now more supple and smoother.
So, how does the product work? The Neutrogena Hydro Boost line increases hydration levels up to 200% and replenishes hydration all day long through its 12-Hour Progressive Release System. It’s three major components -Purified Hyaluronic Acid, Olive Extract, and Glycerin – all work together to increase moisture in the skin. Aside from the Water Gel, other products in the Hydro Boost line include the Mousse Cleanser, Clear Lotion, Essence, and Mask.
If your skin is already relatively blemish free and if you lead a very busy life, the Neutrogena Hydro Boost line just might be the perfect beauty product for you. As for me, I’m now using the Hydro Boost Water Gel in conjunction with some Neutrogena Fine Fairness products. I was not blessed with easy to maintain blemish-free skin and am prone to pigmentation which the Fine Fairness products addresses very well.
I also tried Neutrogena products before and I have no comments on it. I don’t feel any itchiness after using unlike other facial wash. Though recently I haven’t use any beauty products aside from mild soap, I think I have to try that Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel too bec I noticed dryness on my face maybe bec of the mild soap I’m using. =)

sounds like another great product from Neutrogena. For the longest time I have only been using a moisturizing soap or Cetaphyl on my face. Maybe I should try this one time….
the other day i bought from watsons neutrogena fine fairness toner, brightening night cream and uv protector. Costs me around 3000 pesos all. And it just took me 2 applications for an outbreak to occur! im so lost now.
That’s why I shifted to their Hydro Boost line. The same thing happened to me when I used the all the products in the Fine Fairness line. Now I use Neutrogena Hydro Boost Mousse Cleanser, Neutrogena Water Gel, and the Fine Fairness BB Cream. I also use the Fine Fairness mask once a week. So far, this regimen has worked well for me.
