Quickfire Foodie Mom House Taping

Close friends who have known me for years can attest to my skills, or lack thereof, in the kitchen.  They all know that apart from breakfast fare that involved only boiling or frying, I can do nothing else in the kitchen.

I can just imagine how surprised (or incredulous) they’d be once they find out that I’d be cooking with Chef Rosebud in one episode of Quickfire! You see, this kitchen-inept mom emailed one of her recipes to [email protected] with fingers crossed hoping to get a chance to meet Chef Rosebud.  Lo and behold, I received an email a few days after that my wish was granted and I would get to cook beside THE Chef Rosebud in her NEW Quickfire kitchen!

The studio taping is still a few days away but Tessbomb and the Quickfire team went to our house this afternoon to shoot a segment for MY Quickfire episode.  I had the jitters then and only prayed that I wouldn’t stutter too much nor lose my voice for that matter.  Good thing Tessbomb had so much life and energy that she was able to make me forget how nervous I was.  I couldn’t say exactly the same thing though in the four or five takes that they took.  I just hope the segment would look great on the final cut.

Why don’t you try your luck and submit your own 10-minute recipe? You just might get to cook with Chef Rosebud also. Oh, don’t forget to include a picture of you and your family when you email your recipe.
