Toddler Art…On Walls and the Television! Aaaargh!!!

My little boy is almost three and the princess is turning 4 in a few months, so there has been less trips and stumbles in the house as the two little ones transition from being toddlers to preschoolers.  There has also been no instance of putting toys and whatnots inside their mouths so I’ve started to take a few steps away from them to do some chores.

I’ve found that one of the best ways to keep them busy while I do the house chores is to provide them with art materials.  A box of crayon and sheets of paper can keep them entertained for hours.

Alas!  Their creativity found its way to our walls and our television. After washing the dishes after lunch, I went to the living room to get the kids ready for naptime but instead got the shock of my life.  I am no stranger to crayon streaks on the wall, but to find our television screen with doodles left my jaw dropping to the floor.

I’m still figuring out how to remove those crayon marks on the television.  Just to be sure it doesn’t happen again, I’m giving hubby a call and ask him to get some of those peerless mounts so we can keep the television out of my creative toddlers’ reach.
