It’s time for RAINBOW RUN 3!

Who’s running with us at the 3rd Rainbow Run? We had so much fun when we joined the Rainbow Run last year that hubby gamely obliged when I asked him if we could join this year.

Superheroes at Rainbow Run 2!

Warning though, this run is not for serious runners!  (Which really makes it perfect for me. 😛  ) The Rainbow Run is for kids and the kids-at-heart.

Rainbow Run 2: Superman and Supergirl Finished the Race

We did sign up for Rainbow Run 2 at the Fun Ranch and we finished the 1K run!

Assembly time was at 4:00pm but Jade had summer camp at SM Marikina until 3pm so we didn’t make it on time.  We arrived about 10 minutes before Gun Start and had time for a couple of pictures before the race started (and before we were all sweaty and icky).  The little ones were dressed as superheroes and gamely posed for the camera.

And here’s the strong and brave Superman:

They looked so cute in their costumes that they were also given the Best in Costume Award along with three other kids who were wearing costumes:

It was our first time to join the Rainbow Run and from the fun that we had, we’d definitely be joining again next year.  The 400-peso fee was well worth it as we not only had fun running as a family, eating yummy spag and waffles, and watching the games, we also went home with free goodies and plenty of wonderful memories.
